ENG: I have always been a diligent student, and when I arrived at Harvard to study law, I discovered something astonishing: out of over 500 students, only 8 of us were women. Many years later, when I became part of my country’s Supreme Court—the highest court in the land—there were still very few women. I felt incredibly fortunate to be able to analyze and promote laws that sought to ensure equal opportunities for us. Although I’ve always been introverted, I learned how to use my voice at the most crucial moments. And now, my voice is part of a powerful chorus of many others."
