At the invitation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), on April 11, 2019, La Cana participated in the Technical Working Group to develop a system for evaluating and certifying prisons in our country, through the creation of United Nations Advanced Standards for the Mexican Penitentiary System (UNAPS). In this way, we have particularly contributed to the analysis of standards related to work in penitentiary centers.

From La Cana, we recognize the importance of promoting the creation of employment opportunities within prisons, in order to contribute to a safer and more peaceful Mexico. Thank you very much for the invitation!
